The SLV/SLV/85 Set combines two beloved EMG Pickups, the SLV and 85. This SSH Set offers warmth, articulation and versatility.

The SLV is a custom designed single coil for famed session guitarist and founding member of Toto, Steve Lukather. Steve’s custom EMG utilizes Alnico V pole pieces under a solid cover cap to give the pickup a more tradition string-to-string sound.

The 85 is a powerful guitar pickup with exceptional tone and versatility. The Alnico bar magnets of this model provide a muscular growl and smooth lead tones enabling you to play everything from the blues to metal.

This set installs easily with EMG’s solderless wiring, including a solder 5 Position Switch.
