Special Features

The ESP Custom Shop AMAZE provides an almighty sound while having a small shape. The high-end model CTM is based on the structure of the AS Series. It has a Swamp Ash body with a 5mm thick Poplar Burl top. The influence of these exotic woods present not only a luxurious appearance, but are also sought after for their slightly brighter timbral tone. It’s a great all-round bass for slap sounds, fingerstyle and pick playing. It covers everything from modern vintage sounds to heavy bass.

Pickup fence

Removable pickup fence over the Neck pickup is a well-thought-out shape and height. Designed to achieve both slap and 2-finger compatibility.

Control

Built-in active 3-band EQ CINNAMON. By pulling the master volume, it becomes a preamp through. Due to the passive design, the treble cut functions as a normal tone even when passive.

ESP Custom Lab J-1 pickup.

The clear and Hi-Fi characteristics work very well with the EQ, and retain their punch and clarity even when passive. The bridge pickup is mounted closer to the bridge to provide a well-defined sound.
